Hairy Women

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

In my sixty plus years there are some things that have puzzled me, mystified me, amused me and horrified me.

None more than the merkin. In fact the merkin is the only thing that has raised all four emotions at the same time; believe me, that takes some doing.

Now I can discern more than one mental cog out there working overtime, as in WTF is a merkin?

Merkins are like wigs, false moustaches, etc but for 'down there.' The example is a somewhat garish one, but it was difficult to find a tasteful representation.

My question, is simply, why?

If you need a merkin, it stands to reason that you don't have the natural fur covering whose onset around puberty adorns us all. If you don't, why don't you? With the exception of some bizarre accident, I can only assume that the lack is due to shaving. So why shave in the first place?

Hairless armpits, shaved legs and bald pubic area, like breast implants are an absolute turn off. I have had to accept the hairless armpits because it is difficult to find a woman today who has hairy ones. I don't mean hairy like as-a-gorilla type armpits, but a tasteful showing. One cuts ones hair on the head and trims  beards and moustaches, likewise one can cut and/or trim ones armpits to a personal level. Women complain about the itchy, sweaty feeling, but men have endured this for millenia.

These modern fads and fancies are not for me I'm afraid. Mother Nature determined what is beautiful, and in the main I agree with her wisdom.

Maybe the New Year will bring some model fame and fortune because she dared to walk the catwalk with underarm hair.

What's in Store?

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

During my lifetime, I have been witness to many changes; I am sad to say that none are good, not one, and the trend is getting worse.

From my carefree childhood where we had little to no parental supervision nor interference and were able to be kids; we have become totally paranoid and trap our kids in a false world of safety where they are stifled and can't grow and develop.

But the worst changes are political ones, powered by the megalomaniacs that we put in power through the imagined freedom of elections. They have raped and plundered all we have worked for.

The symbol is a powerful one, hateful, a despicable reminder of what we fought against  just six decades ago and now it is no longer just lapping at the shores of the USA and the world, it is pervasive and has invaded all you know. It has eroded the American dream, fed on it and destroyed it.

What are these trends?

"Climax Time: The Top 12 Trends for 2012"

by Gerald Celente

"Hold onto your hat, your wallet, and your wits. After a tumultuous 2011 in which many of the trends we had forecast became headline news around the world, we are now forewarning of an even more tumultuous year to come. While it would give us great pleasure to forecast a 2012 of joy and prosperity – all brought about by the wisdom and benevolence of our fearless leaders – since we are not running for office or looking to profit by gulling the people, we tell it as we see it in our 12 Top Trends 2012. One megatrend looms on the near horizon. And we forecast that when it strikes, it will be a shock felt around the world. Hyperbole it’s not! Our research has revealed that at the very highest levels of government this megatrend has been seriously discussed. Read on:

1. Economic Martial Law: Given the current economic and geopolitical conditions, the central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare economic martial law … with the possibility of military martial law to follow.

2. Battlefield America: With a stroke of the Presidential pen, language was removed from an earlier version of the National Defense Authorization Act, granting the President authority to act as judge, jury and executioner. Citizens, welcome to “Battlefield America.”

3. Invasion of the “Occtupy”: 15 years ago, Gerald Celente predicted in his book Trends 2000 that prolonged protests would hit Wall Street in the early years of the new millennium and would spread nationwide. The “Occtupy” is now upon us, and it is like nothing history has ever witnessed.

4. Climax Time: The financial house of cards is collapsing, and in 2012 many of the long-simmering socioeconomic and geopolitical trends that Celente has accurately forecast will come to a climax. Some will arrive with a big bang and others less dramatically … but no less consequentially. Are you prepared? And what’s next for the world?

5. Technocrat Takeover: “Democracy is Dead; Long Live the Technocrat!” A pair of lightning-quick financial coup d’états in Greece and Italy have installed two unelected figures as head of state. No one yet in the mainstream media is calling this merger of state and corporate powers by its proper name: Fascism, nor are they calling these “technocrats” by their proper name: Bankers! Can a rudderless ship be saved because technocrat is at the helm?

6. Repatriate! Repatriate!: It took a small, but financially and politically powerful group to sell the world on globalization, and it will take a large, committed and coordinated citizens’ movement to “un-sell” it. “Repatriate! Repatriate!” will pit the creative instincts of a multitude of individuals against the repressive monopoly of the multinationals.

7. Secession Obsession: Winds of political change are blowing from Tunisia to Russia and everywhere in between, opening a window of opportunity through which previously unimaginable political options may now be considered: radical decentralization, Internet-based direct democracy, secession, and even the peaceful dissolution of nations, offering the possibility for a new world “disorder.”

8. Safe Havens: As the signs of imminent economic and social collapse become more pronounced, legions of New Millennium survivalists are, or will be, thinking about looking for methods and ways to escape the resulting turmoil. Those “on-trend” have already taken measure to implement Gerald Celente’s 3 G’s: Gold, Guns and a Getaway plan. Where to go? What to do? Top Trends 2012 will guide the way.

9. Big Brother Internet: The coming year will be the beginning of the end of Internet Freedom: A battle between the governments and the people. Governments will propose legislation for a new “authentication technology,” requiring Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver’s license and/or bill of health to navigate cyberspace. For the general population it will represent yet another curtailing of freedom and level of governmental control.

10. Direct vs. Faux Democracy: In every corner of the world, a restive populace has made it clear that it’s disgusted with “politics as usual” and is looking for change. Government, in all its forms – democracy, autocracy, monarchy, socialism, communism – just isn’’t working. The only viable solution is to take the vote out of the hands of party politicians and institute Direct Democracy. If the Swiss can do it, why can’t anyone else?

11. Alternative Energy 2012: Even under the cloud of Fukushima, the harnessing of nuclear power is being reinvigorated by a fuel that is significantly safer than uranium and by the introduction of small, modular, portable reactors that reduce costs and construction time. In addition, there are dozens of projects underway that explore the possibility of creating cleaner, competitively priced liquid fuels distilled from natural sources. Plan to start saying goodbye to conventional liquid fuels!

12. Going Out in Style: In the bleak terrain of 2012 and beyond, “Affordable sophistication” will direct and inspire products, fashion, music, the fine arts and entertainment at all levels. US businesses would be wise to wake up and tap into the dormant desire for old time quality and the America that was.”

Carl Sagan "The Choice"

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

"Human history can be viewed as a slowly dawning awareness that we are members of a larger group. Initially our loyalties were to ourselves and our immediate family, next, to bands of wandering hunter-gatherers, then to tribes, small settlements, city-states, nations. We have broadened the circle of those we love. We have now organized what are modestly described as super-powers, which include groups of people from divergent ethnic and cultural backgrounds working in some sense together — surely a humanizing and character building experience. If we are to survive, our loyalties must be broadened further, to include the whole human community, the entire planet Earth. Many of those who run the nations will find this idea unpleasant. They will fear the loss of power. We will hear much about treason and disloyalty. Rich nation-states will have to share their wealth with poor ones. But the choice, as H. G. Wells once said in a different context, is clearly the universe or nothing."

A Dog's Purpose

"A Dog's Purpose"

Author Unknown

"Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, we are all very much attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker’s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.

Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ‘‘I know why.” Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live. He said, “People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The six-year-old continued, ”Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”

The Epitomy of Arrogance

This is preposterous. I would like to think that this letter is a hoax, but sadly I believe it is the real thing.

How damned arrogant can you get?

For their unchristian attitude, I hope the members of the Cornerstone Reformed Church are denied their prayerful hopes of eternal salvation and are condemned to the same Kingdom of Darkness they see fit to condemn others.

Me, I have no doubts as to where I'll be, so I'll see them there.

How Stupid Can You Get?

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

Today among the headlines:

French move to ban prostitution by punishing clients

France's parliament is to debate abolishing prostitution through a crackdown which would criminalise payment for sex.

The National Assembly will vote on a symbolic resolution drafted by a cross-party commission which, if successful, will be followed by a bill in January.

The resolution urges abolition at a time when "prostitution seems to be becoming routine in Europe".

Some campaigners reject the bill, advocating prostitutes' rights instead.

Around 20,000 people are believed to be working as prostitutes in France.

How stupid? How utterly futile? How banal?

Many witches were merely prostitutes
Prostitution will never be, and cannot ever be stopped.

Reportedly the world's oldest profession it has survived ice ages, it has survived Jesus, it has survived religious inquisitions, witch hunts the church and defied society since the beginning of humanity.

What do they expect? Simply because of 'another law' it will just up and vanish?

Listen you stupid, stupid people you're talking about sex here.

Praying mantis devours her mates
Let's for a moment examine what sex is. The bare bones of sex (excuse the pun). Sex is what we have called the propagation of our species. It is the strongest force that exists within each and everyone of us, probably stronger than the need to eat and breathe. Other species on this vile little world die and cannibalise their mates for the need to procreate. Humans are no different, the need to procreate is why we are here. Do you really think that we are here to be nice, to make money, to invent, to get married and have 2.2 children and a nice house?

If you think this then you are stupid.

We are here to have propagate (read: have sex) our species and absolutely no other ethereal reason can change that. All the other bullshit is merely collateral damage.

A bitch searches out a suitable dog by smelling his urine. By this she can tell whether the dog would be a suitable sire for her puppies.

Mankind is the same, the woman searches for a man who can sustain her and her offspring; it's called marriage.

Dogs are polygamous, almost every species (bar a few) are. Man is no different. Man is polygamous, the need to propagate (have sex) the man is in search for any female who thinks that he may be suitable as a sire. Yes, a sire, nothing more than that.

It doesn't matter if the female is 'hunted' within society in a bar or a church social, it doesn't matter if the woman is sitting in a window in Amsterdam or walking along Avenida Atlantica in Copacabana; man's instinct is to have sex.

Sex for money, that's what prostitution is, sex for money or some other form of recompense in order to survive.

What's marriage? The same damn thing. You can have sex with me so that I may have offspring (children) as long as you support me and the children with money and physical comforts.

Yes, the bare bones of the matter is marriage is a form of prostitution.

Love, what about love?

Love is merely what we call the satisfaction, the emotion of finding a person suitable for her ends. It might well be called 'success'.

Love is a female emotion. Men never love, the equivalent emotion is men is lust, which can also be translated as 'success'.

I hear you, if love doesn't exist; how do you explain homosexuals?

My answer is another question, have you never seen a dog mount another dog, or a bitch do the same to another bitch? If you haven't, then I have; and I have seen it a lot more often than I have seen homosexual couples kissing in the street. Dogs often do this as a form of dominance.

The need for sex is so strong that regardless of what man does, like making banal laws, you'll never stop it.

You can look at the desire to control sex in another light. The people can be controlled through their need for sex or their fear.

Why do you think that the church exists? To control man. Those in power want the people subjugated and under control, the church is nothing more than a government instilled propaganda machine.

If you want to rid the world of prostitution the you have to look at the root cause... the church and church sanctioned prostitution - marriage.

Liking a lie-in in people's genes

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

People who like a lie-in may now have an excuse - it is at least partly down to their genes, according to experts.

Experts, who studied more than 10,000 people across Europe, found those with the gene ABCC9 need around 30 minutes more sleep per night than those without the gene.

The gene is carried by one in five Europeans, they say in their study, published in Molecular Psychiatry.

The researchers said the finding could help explain "sleep behaviour".
Over 10,000 people took part, each reporting how long they slept and providing a blood sample for DNA analysis.

People's sleep needs can differ significantly.
At the extreme, Margaret Thatcher managed on four hours of sleep a night while Albert Einstein needed 11.

Fruit flies

People from the Orkney Isles, Croatia, the Netherlands, Italy, Estonia and Germany took part in the study.

All were asked about their sleep patterns on "free" days, when people did not need to get up for work the next day, take sleeping pills or work shifts.

When the researchers from the University of Edinburgh and Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich compared these figures with the results of the genetic analysis, they found those with a variation of a gene known as ABCC9 needed more sleep than the eight-hour average.

They then looked at how the gene works in fruit flies, who also have it and found flies without ABCC9 slept for three hours less than normal.

The gene ABCC9 is involved in sensing energy levels of cells in the body.
They say this opens up a new line of research in sleep studies, and it is hoped that future work could establish exactly how this gene variant regulates how long people sleep for.

Dr Jim Wilson, from the University of Edinburgh's centre for population health sciences, said: "Humans sleep for approximately one-third of their lifetime."

A tendency to sleep for longer or shorter periods often runs in families despite the fact that the amount of sleep people need can be influenced by age, latitude, season and circadian rhythms.

Save the Males

Posted by Argentum Vulgaris

I just saw a post that touched base. BTW, that's not a typo in the title...

Let's consider this; today this is the new 'sex symbol' type. I don't know who he is, I don't care, but this is the 'new hero' a poncy namby pamby perfumed emo-faced kid without a pimple to his name. Leonardo diCaprio is a sad example of this.

Where have the men gone?

Men used to look like men. Clint Eastwood, he looked like a man, he looked like he would smell like a man, he looked like he was a man.

Men of his ilk have just disappeared from Hollywood planet, from society, in fact, from the face of the Earth.

I read this quote: "A growing number of men today are deprived of the very motivation that promotes civilized behavior by politically correct feminist dogma which dominates society and the legal establishment.  Families and children are collateral victims of damage to men." From (ironically, because I chose the name of the post before I found this): Save the Males

I fully realise that I am being politically incorrect. I firmly believe that political correctness is total bullshit; and that it is responsible for many of today's social maladies.

Quite frankly, the world was a better place before Germain Greer burnt her bra.

The world galloped full tit (excuse the pun) embracing the feminists and their demands.

Now don't get me wrong. I have no problems with females, I married one & created two more and their brother.

Save the Males

Males are washed up on the beach of masculinity
"So what happened to all the masculine men– the guys with calloused hands, worn out jeans, an imperfect smile and eyes that make women weak in the knees?  Men who know how to fix things and don’t mind getting dirty." Quote from the post, Rugged Men are on the Verge of Extinction, I read that stirred my loins and set my cogs in motion.

A Distasteful Consideration:

I say that political correctness is bullshit, let's examine why.

Have you ever considered why we have unemployment? "No..." I didn't think so.

In any group within society there are only so many jobs (x) available for the workforce (y). If you double the size of the available workforce, then 50% are going to be out of work. The math is simple: x ÷ y = 1 (That is one job for each; however, x ÷ 2y = ½ (means half y is out of work).

Yes, I know that's a simplistic view, there are other dynamics involved as well, but it's an example.

One of the other major dynamics is that technology has taken its toll of the number of jobs available too.

I have said in the past that technology is not progress. I will harp on that in another post.

Comments are welcome, whether you agree or disagree...

Opening Blurb

Now that I am here, I'm not sure.

This blog was a great blog originally, before Google made my previous account 'disappear.' There was never any reason given, nor even the courtesy of a reply.

Quite frankly, Google are a pack of ignorant bastards.

But I am here, why?

I moved all my serious blogs to WordPress, because I no longer have faith in anything 'Google.'

But I came back, why?

There is no free blogger platform that is better. WordPress and the rest are stone age basic unless you want to pay. They are primitive, limited and cumbersome.

Plus, unless I pay, and become an expert at understanding WordPress and it's intricacies, I can't have nice templates like 'my jeans.' I love this template, and it is so appropriate for this blog. The play on words, jeans/genes, what both contain and makes us human.

I had to come back.

If you were here before, welcome back, if you are here for the first time, welcome.

It will be some time before I am back into the swing of things, patience, I hope to make the wait worthwhile.
